John started teaching my son the electric guitar about 3 years ago and then started teaching my daughter guitar about a year later. Johns lessons were tailored to meet both my children’s interests and ability. My son enjoyed music from obscure artists and John was able to listen to the music and come up with the chords/notes to teach the song and keep my son interested in learning. He really took the time to listen to both kids and be interested in them as people.

Additionally, about a year ago, John started to work with a client of mine in song writing. This client is a non-speaking autistic adult. John jumped right in with enthusiasm and worked so well with this client.
He’s a great guy and a great teacher!

We found John on a recommendation from a friend whose 12 year old daughter was also taking guitar lessons. He’s very patient with kids, enthusiastic about what he teaches, and makes sure the kids get a day in what they learn too. Now we have our 9 year old son taking Drum lessons with Max! Great people to learn music from. Highly recommend

John is such a great guy and his studio is welcoming to all skill levels, even an old head like me starting from scratch. I get lessons with Nick, who has been great to work with on my journey. He’s been patient and I enjoy going every week. I’d recommend their studio to anyone. I truly appreciate them and I’m really glad I finally went ahead and started playing.

My 8 year old daughter started taking guitar lessons with John. Shes coming with zero experience, but a lot of ambition. Besides the fact that he is uber kind and was able to accommodate our crazy schedule, he has been so great with her and she always looks forward to her lessons. Any questions we have outside of her scheduled lessons, John is always super quick to help us out and send us instructional videos to help in any way he can.
