Ian Vos
Ian is a musician and educator residing in Lambertville, NJ. He has vast experience teaching
students of all levels in a variety of music styles, the fundamentals of instrumental technique,
music theory and creative musicianship. He has taught public school orchestra as well as private
lessons in bass, guitar, piano, violin, and cello for the past 15 years. No matter what your goals
in learning an instrument, Ian can help you achieve them.
He has performed on his primary instrument, the double bass, in a variety of jazz, rock and roll,
and classical ensembles over the years including the PA Sinfonia, Low Cut Connie, and
continues to perform regularly with his own roots rock group, the Vostones.
He earned his B.F.A from the New School in Jazz and Contemporary Music in 2000 and a Master’s degree from West Chester University in Music Education in 2021.

Chris is a pianist and educator with a focus on classical music.
Since graduating from Westminster Choir College with two Master’s degrees in Piano Performance and Musicology, Chris has had teaching and performance experience across North America. He has taught beginner through advanced piano, music theory, and music history.
Chris has performance experience in Carnegie Hall, Kimmel Center and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, under the batons of renowned conductors such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Gustavo Dudamel, Alan Gilbert, Daniel Barenboim, Daniele Gatti, and Jacques Lacombe.
He has always had an interest in the inner mechanics of modern and historical pianos, and for the past decade has been tuning and servicing pianos in PA and NJ. Knowledge of historical instruments and tuning systems can provide unique insights into the compositional worlds of classical composers.
